ILO Dynamic DNS

1. how often do ILOs configured for dynamic DNS (see attached) try to re-register themselves?

2. is there a way to change this frequency?

3. is there a way to force them to register immediately?

It cannot be configured. If DDNS registration was unsuccessful after 4 quick retries (every 5 seconds each), iLO2 will pause and try to register again 30 minutes later.  Once successful, iLO2 will refresh DDNS registration every 2 hours.

thank you oscar. does it also follow that ddns registration doesn't work if the dns zone is configured for secure updates only?

iLO2 doesn't support secure DDNS updates.
