Hi,
We seem to have an issue where the ILO Username and Password was never logged anywhere and now we don't know what it is.
Is there a way around this to get in and reset this? This is on a BL20P if that makes any difference, but it probably shouldn't?
Thanks,
-KPS

Solution
Why dont You reboot server, when iLO configuration screen appears, hit F8 and change username/password? Crap Your laptop, connect it to the Blade, which iLO You need to configure and to Your stuff. And by default every HP server has ticket tied front of the server, where is iLO dns name and password. If this is not working. Remove current blade from enclosure and open the case. There is little switch and toggle it to the iLO reset position.
I have done this once. I hope this helps.

Re: ILO Username and Password
OPen the server and look out the switch no.1 , just switch it on and switch on the server.it will reset the ilo to default settings.....Now if you want, change the password.
after doing this put the 1 no. switch off.
Ashish.
