Re: ILO connectivity is not happening

The System Management Homepage has a section for iLO that should report on its health status. What does it say?

There is no system management in the server.

Hi!

There are three NIC in the back of the server. Make sure you are connected to the iLO port. Check the DL360 G4 User Guide Attached on page 64. Also make sure you have the iLO firmware and driver installed.

Re: ILO connectivity is not happening

If you don't know the iLO DNS or you don't get to the iLO Web Page. There is a System Maintenance Switch on the system board. Check the DL360 G4 User Guide on page 68. Change the Switch Number 1 to the ON position and Restart the server. During POST you are going to have "Integrated Lights-Out press F8 to configure" and there you are going to be able to set the DNS and password. After that you power down the server, set the switch number 1 back to the OFF position and then try access iLO. Everything should work fine.
