Re: ILO hponcfg Variable substiution
hponcfg /w test.xml /s IP_Address=1.1.1.1
in the test.xnl just wrap the value IP_Address with % signs

Re: ILO hponcfg Variable substiution
Did this ever work for you?
I am trying to replace the DNS names via a script and I receive a syntax error.
hponcfg /f path\dns-change.xml /s DNS_NAME=newname
result:
Firmware Revision = 1.84 Device type = iLO Driver name = CpqCiDrv
Status = 0x1
Message = Syntax error: Line #1: syntax error near "" in the line: "RIBCL VERSIO
"="2.1">
Script failed
