ILO100 configuration on DL185 G5 server
Hi all,
We have around 100 DL185 G5 servers that we use for survailance. Since they are dislocated far from our office we use iLO to check server status. We use static IP for ILO but for some unknown reason, from time to time, we loose connection on some servers. Apone arriving on location we can see that the settings in ILO configuration tool were restored and set to DHCP. What is very strange, static IP address and gateway settings remains untouched, just "use DHCP" option is selected (??).
I recently discovered lo100cfg tool that can manage settings from operating system side. Unfortunately I can't manage to run this application - i get error: "The Microsoft IPMI WMI provider may not be installed properly."
I'm using Windows Server 2003 R2 x86, IPMI version 2.0, ILO fw: 3.20 (latest), system BIOS latest. I have installed IPMI WMI management drivers (from add/remove programs -> add/remove windows components) but for some reason it's still not working.
Does anyone use this config tool or had similar situation?
Thanks for help!
regards,
