Re: ILO2
hi
well by default ilo is DHCP in case you have the System Management homepage configured you can find which IP was assigned already
if not you can set an static IP address using a tool and a xml script
1. tool to configured within OS
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=1146658&prodNameId=1135772&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-2cd1363574034e0da1392c8911
2 script list
you have to use the script called
Mod_Network_Settings.xml
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=1146658&prodNameId=1135772&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-84d9a19b43b84516ac2d26d01f
so when the first utility is installed you modify the file "Mod_Network_Settings.xml" with your settings and in command line invoking the utility you run a command like this
hponcfg -f filename.xml
bye
