ILO4 Firmware 2.10 to 2.53 in one step ?

Hi there,

may I update ILO 4 from 2.10 to 2.53 in one step or does it still require incremental updates aka. step by step updates ?

That would mean going from 2.10 to 2.53 = flash 2.11, 2.20, 2.22, 2.30, 2.31, 2.40, 2.42, 2.44 etc.

Are XML backup settings always compatible ? Will the firmware overwrite/delete all actual settings ? Does someone know if settings are going to be removed or added between all these different versions ?

Yes, You can update directly 2.53.

Update operation does not delete the configuration.
