I have a Proliant DL380 G3. When I start the IMLV, it "Connecting to ...", than "Loading data" and fails with "Out of memory.".
I already tried to do it in Dosbox cpqimlv.exe /clear, but nothing changes! A server reboot also didn't help.
I tried to find any *.log, *.iml and *.msg files but failed.
Any ideas or tips ?

Re: IMLV Out of Memory, /Clear doesn't help
Can try this:
1)Power down the server.
2)Remove HDD from server when it is OFF.
3)Mark the hdd accourdingly(even it is possible to change the location of HDD)
4)Powern on server without HDD
5)run erase utility from SmartstartCD.
6)Then check with you IML again.
Do we have PSP on server as alread asked from you in the post?

Re: IMLV Out of Memory, /Clear doesn't help
Yes the support pack is installed.
In the HP System Management Logs I see both logfiles (HTTP Server Log & Version Control Agent Log). I cleared the VCAgent Log and deleted the HTTP Log (c:\compaq\wbem\log\cpqhmmd.log)
I also tried again the DOS cpqimlv /clear, with the result that the process cpqimlv eats the memory of the server, until I kill the process !
So the problem is still the same with IMLV Log Viewer -> Out of Memory.
The thing with removing the HDD's is too risky , since many users work with that server !
Any more suggestions ? Is there any hidden tool to delete the IMLV log (or file) ?
Best regards, Werner

Re: IMLV Out of Memory, /Clear doesn't help
Where proliant raid information is stored in HDD so when you remove hdd from server when it offline it is safe. But i can understand.

Re: IMLV Out of Memory, /Clear doesn't help
There is a Rightfax installed on the server.
I will try to get updated drivers
Many thanks to all involved persons.
Great job.
