IPMI/DCMI over LAN in iLO 5

Hello,

HPE Gen10 servers by default comes with iLO5 setting "IPMI/DCMI over LAN" disabled. 

is there any way to enable this setting via powershell HPiLOCmdlets?

Hi,

Current verison of our HPE iLOCmdlets (1.5.0.0) does not support Gen 10 servers but the new version 2.0 which is under development is going to support Gen 10 by end of Q1 CY18.

Hi,

Additionally we have HPERedfish cmdlets which are available on PowerShell Gallery website which can be used for changing IPMI/DCMI settings of iLO but these cmdlets are provider cmdlets and you need to code little bit to get\set changes on target iLO. Samples are also available for your reference.

Alternatively you can still use HPE iLO 1.5 cmdlets for Gen 10 for time being with caveat its not supported platform from us and any issues you need handle on your own till it's officially supported by us.

HPE iLOCmdlets version 2.0 with Gen10 support is realeased already, but i could not figure out how to enable IPMI/DCMI over LAN wtih new iLOCmdlets . Can you help on this?
