We installed RHAS 3.0 in the machine.

Using /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/kernel/drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_msghandler.o
insmod ipmi_kcs_drv
Using /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/kernel/drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_kcs_drv.o
/lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/kernel/drivers/char/ipmi/ipmi_kcs_drv.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters.

Re: IPMI in DL380 G3

ProLiant 300/500/700 systems do not use IPMI. The Integrated Lights-Out management processor provides more and more secure features than are available with IPMI. See "Managing ProLiant servers with Linux" for complete information.
