IPMI on ML115 G5 under Linux
Hi
I've used IPMI under Linux on a lot of Dell and Supermicro hardware before, however the ML115 G5 is my first HP box.
Normally, the IPMI controller presents at least one LAN channel, to which you assign an IP address, however on this machine, ipmitool can't see any LAN channels on the BMC. I didn't buy the remote management card, does that make any difference?
The IPMI controller seems kinda useless without a LAN channel for out of band access. Can anybody point me in the right direction?
Regards and best wishes,
Adam Sweet
