Ilo amplifier update of iLO firmware only - OS reboot required?

Hi,

I have 60 by Gen 9 and Gen 10 servers. I need to update the firmware on the iLo only.

The servers are running the Centos operating system.

I am thinking of using iLo amplifier to do a bulk FW update.

Is it possible to do a customized firmware update of the server iLO firmware only and not require a server reboot with iLo amplifier? Is there any infromation available on this type of scenario?

Hello good afternoon.

If you only update ilo with the .bin, only ilo will restart, the server does not restart.
