Re: Ilo disable.
Ok. did the integrated lights-out option appears in POST? if yes press F8 to get into ilo and configure it. I mean IP, users, passwords and so on.
on the other hand if ilo is not in POST it means is disabled, you will need to override the ilo security switch (which is in the SB)
Procedure:
- unplug power cable.
- look for the System Maintenance Switch
- the switch number 1 (ilo security switch) put it in ON position (check attached picture to locate System Maintenance Switch)
- plug server
- check POST and when Integrated lights-out appears press f8
- doing this ilo is not going to ask you for password (ilo security is disable)
- do the changes in the ilo interface(ip, users, ...)
- power off server
- put the switch number 1 in OFF position again.
doing this you can access your ilo via web browser where you will find more options to configure your ilo
I hope this can help you
regards

Re: Ilo disable.
there are two server one boot is OK and the other one not. both ilo disabled? Am I OK?
you mean by boot I supposed POST? or windows?
if it is POST try Clear NVRAM, you know the procedure?
it is the switch number 6 instead of 1 which is for ilo.
Procedure:
- Power off server, unplugg the power cable.
- Open the server.
- Look for System Maintenance Switch
- Switch number 6, put it ON position
- Power on the server.
- Leave it ON for 2 minutes
- Power off the server and unplug the power cable
- Put switch 6 in the OFF position again
- Power on the server again.
and test
