Independant nodes

I have the opportunity to purchase an unused CL100 (TWO 1850s, with fibre array 4000 storage along with many Compaq Options installed, all in a Compaq cabinet. I realize this setup is for Clustering but I am asking:

Can I utilize the server nodes independently, with one using the shared storage, and the other using it's own internal disk array ?

Any Information or reply would be appreciated, Thanks in Advance.

Re: Independant nodes

Yes. You would have to unplug the SCSI cable of the node to be used independantly. This, however, is an unsupported configuration. That means by doing this you would be on your own.
