InfiniBand Card is incorrectly recognized as memory controller.
I installed an infiniBand card on HP DL360 PCI-E slot. The card is incorrectly recognized by BIOS as a memory controller. The wrong information passed to the Linux OS and made the card fail to work.
I'm trying to change its information in BIOS but modification is not allowed.

Re: InfiniBand Card is incorrectly recognized as memory controller.
I have the same problem:
Two Infiniband Adapters NC571C (PCIe Dual Channel HCI Adapter). One works correct the other one doesn't.
Reply from HP Support is to Update the Adapter FW and a link to the mellanox Website. But the procedure written there doesn't work in my case.
Changing the adapter which is incorrectly recognized doesn't help.
It seems that HP doesn't have a lot experience with Infiniband and Linux.
