Insatlling a PCI Card in a ProSignia 200

I've been trying to get a Prosignia 200 to recognise that a PCI USB2.0 adaptor has been added to the system.

The PCI Card works.

I've tried it it different slots, after checking each of the slots work by detecting a "recognizable" PCI card e.g. Compaq NIC?

I've tried creating my own PCF file and installing it in the System partition. All to no avail?

Any help would be greatly appreciated?
