Insight Diagnostics logs saving on USB flash drive

Hello,

Im trying to save the ID logs on an  USB flash drive but I see the message "rescan devices" . I fired up Insight Diagnostics using F10 after powering up the server SL 230s G8 with iLO4  2.03.

I've the port 17988 tunneled to and I do see the USB flash drive ( connected to my desktop windows machine ) get attached  as the virtual media.

Any idea what's wrong?

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Make sure USB is Enabled in BIOS of the Server.

Re: Insight Diagnostics logs saving on USB flash drive

I have seen the same when running the diags from SPP. No USB drive dtected - even if SPP was booted from USB. Connecting a second USB drive always works. ???

Hope this helps!

Torsten.
