Insight MGR reports erroneous tape failure

The device is a 1600 which reports a failure of a DAT 8slot 20/40 GB tape drive during a backup. All other times it is fine but during the time it writing to the drive (mind you successfully) it reports a failure. It first says degraded, then off-line, then the backup finishes and it sends an OK. Upgraded insight to 4.61, no change.

Check the storage agents on the server and SSD installation - if the issue is still happening, let us know by email to support@compaq.com
