Can you define device? Are you talking about something it would recognise, like a Proliant Server, or you want to make it aware of something it doesn't know about yet, like a Dell server for instance...?

I have recently Built a new Hp Proliant DL360 G3 Which is on the Domain.I need to add the Device to Insight Manger.I can access
the System management hompage via the Internet as normal.

Right then, please bear in mind I'm using HP SIM 4.1, which is the replacement of IM7, it's a free download, and I'd recommending upgrading if you can!:

What you'll need to do is:

1. Configure SNMP on the DL360. Set the trap destination to be the IP Address of your Insight server and make sure that the snmp community strings are the same as the snmp configuration on your Insight Server.
2. Go to the Automatic discovery, make sure that the IP Address, or range is correct and that your new server is in one of the lists. If it's not, add it.
3. Run an automatic discovery and your device should be picked up.

The most common reason it's not picked up is that SNMP is configured incorrectly.
