Insight nic agent pb with linux
Hello !
The nic agent report an error (failed or degraded item) to Insight Manager console because a network cable is not plugged in the second NC3163 port.
What can i do to avoid this alert ?
(Redhat 7.1, last e100 driver)
Thanks for your help.
ps: this alert doesn't appear with Windows NT.

Hello,
Please try obtaining the latest driver from the following link and see if that helps. do you get this error if you have a loop back cable in the second port??

If the error still occurs after the previous steps, you can check in the /etc/modules.conf and put a # before the alias line that is loading the driver for eth1. This will stop the driver from loading and will not be reported in insight manager.
