Install Win2008 R2 on HP ProLiant DL360 G3

Hi above server is with 4GB RAM, 32 bit hardware.

Can I install Win2008 R2 (64bit) on this server. Will it easy to install with no problems?

hi,

if the CPU is not 64 bit capable, you will be not able to install the Win 2008 R2.

hi,

in the quick spec on the HP site should be defined which CPU are supported , check the site :

http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/11504_na/11504_na.HTML

if you know which CPU is inside the sewrver just check the CPU information on intel.

Processor in the server is 4 Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 2.80GHz.

but I am unable to see/find that if its 64bit enabled or not. Could you help please?

All CPUs for HP ProLiant DL360 G3 support 64bit. See http://h18000.www1.hp.com/products/quickspecs/12476_div/12476_div.pdf in the end of page 4.
