Install an additional drive to RAID5 based on 431 controller
I have installed a 18gb additional drive to my RAID5 (Proliant dl350, Smartarray 431), using the CPQONLIN.NLM utility (Netware 6 SP3). Now, after almost 3 days the RAID is still in EXPAND move. What should I do ?

Re: Install an additional drive to RAID5 based on 431 controller
The expanding depends on several variables.
First of all, what expand priority is it set to? If it is has a low priority and you have lots of data on your raid set and there is lots of diskaccess it might take an awfull lot of time. You can check if it is still busy by disconnecting all users and see if the leds on the disks are flashing randomly.
