Good morning all,

When I boot my server with the CD "SmartStart 7.40" from an external CD drive, I have a problem to see all the information.

Some information are not displayed correctly and are replace by red cross.

Do you know what I have to do?

you definitely have a very old version for smartstart 7.40..

use this one

Latest one 8.0

I am downloading the version of smartstart you gave me.

Another question:

I have created a logical disk Raid 6 with 546,8 GB size. But Smartstart doesn't recognize it!

I have the followings errors:
-Boot controller : unknown device 3230
-Boot controller : Disk Size 0

Where do I have to go to finish the installation of the raid 6.

how you configured that RAID 6? using that old smartstart? or using ORCA option during POST?


something else where are you seeing this:

I forgot if you used Smartstart 7.4 to configure your RAID It is much better if you use 8.0

I use ORCA option to configure RAID6.

I saw these erors in SmartStart old version (I am downloading the new one)

-Boot controller : unknown device 3230
-Boot controller : Disk Size 0
