Installation Windows 2000 SP4 on Compaq Proliant 5500

I am trying to setup Windows 2000 SP4 (slipstreamed) on a 5500 with a RIB board and keyboard / mouse and monitor connected directly on the system.
After copying the installation files of windows 2000 the system reboots and wants to go through the installation setup proces to setup W2K but the keyboard and mouse stop responding,probably because of lack of drivers for the RIB board. Anyone suggestions? I couldn't find a likewise problem in the support forum. If the problem resists I will have to take out the RIB as a last resort. The thing is however that it should work with the RIB.

Which version of SmartStart are you using? You need 5.5, my guess is that your are tyring to install without it and windows does not have a good driver for the rib. If so you could always pull the rib, finish the install. Then install the rib board and apply the latest PSP (7.1).
