Installing 128 MB BATTERY on HP Smart Array E200i
Hello all!
I have a HP Proliant DL360 G5 on my workplace that has a HP Smart Array E200i with 4 disk storage. I tried to configure them but it only allows me to build then on RAID 0 or 0+1, and I wanted to build it on RAID 5.
I check for documentation and to build on RAID 5 I should buy and upgrade the controller memory with the 128 MB BATTERY BACKED WRITE CACHE ENABLER KIT. Now I have it.
But when I open the server there is another memory attached to the controller, and apparently there is no place to fix the battery, only the memory board.
I need some ideas. Anyone had the same problem?
Thanks in advance!
Regards,
Francisco Domingues
