Installing Microsoft 2003 SBS on ML530

I'm trying to setup a 4 years old server to run
MS2k3 SBS, the ROM is already upgrated to P19 (12/18/2002)
Looking for help, correct tools and steps:
1 server installation
2 MS 2k3 SBS installation

If we use the smartstart cd the os canbe issu

A) Do not use the SmartStart CD
B) Manually configure the system, creating the logical drives you need for the OS and data.
C) Have all the drives at the read for the OS, specailly the drive controller.
Then run the OS Install and see if it has the drive to access the drives, if not restart and manually give it the driver at start up.

manually configured the array and installed the 431 driver for W2k/W2k3.

the OS installation goes only to the scren

I'm having the same problem, did that work for you?

You have to make sure that in "BIOS" (if you do not have the config partition use SmartSatrt 5.5 the OS selection is to Windows 2000

Otherwise it does not work (hungs on Starting Windows 2xxx)
