Installing PII 333 Dual Processors

We have upgraded two Proliant 2500 Pentium Pro 200 to dual processors PII 333. The first server which is running NT works fine with the two processors.

The NetWare 5.1 server hangs each time I activate the second processor. The server loads all the NLMs and near the end when it starts the hardware detection stage if freezes and I have to force it to go down.

This server has service pack 2a and the Compaq Support Paq for Novell NetWare 5.x version 1.0a (I believe it is from May 2001).

I reinstalled SP2a and the Compaq drivers for NetWare including the SMP NLM but to no avail.

Anyone has any suggestions.
