Installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 on BL 20p

My BL 20p Servers halt during installation, when the installer begins to format partitions. And even iLO halts (red led turns on and iLO's IP becomes inavailable).
What is wrong?
I'm installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux AS Update 3.

I have seen this same problem during my installations. Broke my head a lot with this issue. I would first suggest to make sure you have the latest iLO firmware. If this update doesnt help then try run installation in text based mode.

Try installing in Text mode. I had this problem too with u3 but text mode works.

Do you have an ATi onboard graphics chip? there is a bug in the driver in RHEL 4.3. For some, installing in text mode works, others have to revert back to 4.2 and bring everything up to date afterwards.
