Installing Redhat 7.3 or FreeBSD to Proliant 1850R Server

I am trying to instll RedHat 7.3 to a proliant 1850R Server. I tried to install Freebsd 5.2.1 and it locks up. When I try to instll Redhat 7.3 it frezzes at "Unable to probe monitor" Can anyone advise me on how to work around this?
