Installing SQL Server 2000 on ML370 G4 Win2003 server
Hi
I have a server Proliant ML370 G4 with an Smartarray 641, 4 disk 36 GB in RAID 1+0, I installed Win2003 Server using SmartStart 7.1 whitout problems, so I need install SQL Server 2000, but the process hangs up before copy the files.
Is there any problem with some Windows driver that needs a patch from HP or Microsoft??

Re: Installing SQL Server 2000 on ML370 G4 Win2003 server
Can/Did you try installing form a local source instead of the CD?
Drop the source files onto your HDD and run that way, see if you still get the smae issue.
If you already have tried this, thats all I can offer. It is a MS product though ;o)
