Installing Solaris with 5i Array Controller

Has anyone had any luck installing Solaris 8 with the built in 5i controller. Apparently Compaq doesn't have any drivers for this card, even though their OS compatibility chart shows no issues (100% compliant). I was hoping to find a way around this with another driver. This will be the last Compaq server I buy.
