Installing Win 2003 ML 370 G2
I am trying to install Win 2003 on a ProLiant ML370, G2 using smartstart 5.3. First thing, Win 2003 isn't in the list of OS to install (no suprise) so I picked windows 2000 advanced server. Now it keeps asking me for the windows 2000 CD. I have downloaded the Windows 2003 drivers but it looks like it needs a OS on the machine first. Any adviced would be great on how to install Win 2003. Thanks in advance

Re: Installing Win 2003 ML 370 G2
Your best bet would be to get a Smartstart 6.x or 7.x CD and do an assisted install.
The ISO for Smartstart 7.0 and 7.1 are available here : http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/subscription/ssdownloads.asp
Your other option would be to perform a manual install of the 2003 Server and when it first starts the textbased install it will prompt you to hit F6 to supply 3rd party drivers. Hit F6 and provide your array controller driver via a floppy and you should be sailing from then on.
