Re: Installing an OS on a SCSI Drive
Hi,
Can you please try to explain again what you want to do and why. What hardware do you have? Is there a raid controller? How many disks? What OS?
You say you can't install an OS on a raidset, why is that?
Leon

Re: Installing an OS on a SCSI Drive
You can install the OS on a SCSI disk - I'm not sure what OS you are going to install so I can't tell you how to do it but it can be done.
If there is an array controller in the server you will have to change the boot controller order to make it boot from the SCSI disk.
The problem with going on a single SCSI disk for the OS is you have no fault tolerance.
