Installing linux 7.2 on ML 370 G3 with smart array 641

i want to install linux 7.2 on ML 370 G3 with smart array 641. i am bootong the system with samrt array after creating raid 1. but linux installation can not see the HDD. says no storage system found.

I suggest you to start with some supported distribution - RHEL 3 or 4, for example. If you want free distribution, you can take CentOS.
As far as I remember, RHEL 3 and 4 supports smart array 641 out of the box. If no - check HP site for drivers.
