Installing second processor in ML150 g6 (466132-001)
Hi to all,
I have install a second processor in my server, but this not run.
The second processor and rams are recommends for HP, but this not take. (Processor 507721-B2)
There must be some jump on the motherboard or settings in the bios for it does run the second processor.
How do is do?
thanks,

Re: Installing second processor in ML150 g6 (466132-001)
Just make sure both the processors are of same model/part number.
Also the memory should be of the same specification.
DIMM slots that are white should be populated first.
Do not mix Unbuffered memory (UDIMMs) with Registered memory (RDIMMs).
To maximize performance, balance the total memory capacity between all installed processors.
One more suggestion, update BIOS first before adding new processor/memory.
I work for HPE.

But I have a raid 10, with 4 disk.
I have fear of losing their "raid 10".
What is it specifically that you must set the BIOS?
