Integrated Array Acting Funny
I do have a problem with my integrated array. During the installation of windows 2000 Adv Server, at "saving settings" phase, the Raid picks one drive - or more - randomly and mark it for off line. the system switch to the Online spare and counties the installation. After the first power cycle, the raid starts to recover on the same drive again. if more than a drive were chosen to be kicked out from the array, the windows installation stops with blue screen "can't find device". I have tried to install the latest firmware update for the integrated array, installing the latest array drivers for win2000 but no use. Also, I have tried both manual and smartstart cd 4.7 automated installations and it didn?t work either

Re: Integrated Array Acting Funny
not exactly sure what this issue is here but smartstart 4.7 is a very old version...there are 7-8 versions after this one...i would suggest trying a newer version..there may be bugs in the older version fixed in later ones..
