Intergrated Mannagement Log - Blue Screen Trap

I have a server that cold boots once in a while, the IML shows a couple of Blue Screen Traps. What is the best way for me to investigate the cause of this problem. Thanks.

Terry,
STOP: 0x0000009C is most commonly hardware failure.

Try to run diagnostics utils from SmartStart CD.

Re: Intergrated Mannagement Log - Blue Screen Trap

we cant say if it is a Hardware ior a Software issue
for Hardware > systemboard and DIMMS need to be diagnosed, use : Insight Diagnostics (http://h18000.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22390.html) to diagnose the issue if server is still booting up or use SS CD to boot and run the diags as u can see in other reply too
> try open up the server and see if there is any RED or AMBER LED on the systemboard & report to HP if there is any
> see if the front LEDs are green or not
> see if you can swap the DIMMs i.e. 1st bay's DIMMs to 2nd & vice versa

Re: Intergrated Mannagement Log - Blue Screen Trap

Thanks for the links, I will run the diags and see what it finds. Will take the covers off later today to check any board LED's, apart from that all external indicators are OK. Will report back with what I find later.
