Internal AIT100 unit in shared storage
Is it possible to place an internal AIT 100/200 tape-unit in the shared storage of the packedged DL380 cluster, so that both servers could use the tape-unit in case of a failure of one of the servers? If yes, how, because if we just place the unit in the shared storage, the hardware is not recognized. If we place the unit in one of the DL380's, there is no problem recognizing and using the unit under NetWare.

Re: Internal AIT100 unit in shared storage
The AIT 100/200 tape device is being qualified to work in the Smart Array Cluster Storage, with completion planned within mid-summer. However, the initial support will be for Windows NT and W2K only using Veritas 8.6. NetWare support is being investigated for later this year, but no firm plans are in place yet.
