Internal Clock Seems To Be Running Fast
We have noticed that when you view processes in Task Manager the clock seems to be running double-speed. If we reboot the server 24 hours later the clock states that it has been 48 hours since the last reboot. This is consistent across our two domain controllers.
Any idea what may cause this issue?
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Internal Clock Seems To Be Running Fast
Hi Steve,
What about the DAte and time under BIOS is it matching to server time can you confirm that.
If it is matching then update the BIOS and try to check with a diff battery on server.
If not thencheck for any application on server which is leading to change of time on server.
Regards,
Prashant S.

Re: Internal Clock Seems To Be Running Fast
Hi Steve,
Indeed, hows time synchronisation configured on this machine? just typing time and date command from a command prompt, could you confirm that it displays the right date and time.
As prashant indicated, then if you could confirm the Date and Time in BIOS, it would give us some idea, perhaps the battery life time has come to an end...bizzare!
