Internal NIC and Unattended NT Svr Inst

Hi:

I developed an automated NT Server 4.0 install that works with the Smart Start Scripting Toolkit. One issue is that I cannot disable the internal NIC on the DL380 through importing the .HWR script. We have installed in this server a NC3134, which is the default NC to be used by NT. Issue is that the internal NIC is not disabled, and the Compaq NIC Driver installs automatically and defaults to the internal NIC (activates it and binds the IP address defined in Unattended.txt). This causes me slight grief. Does anyone have a suggestion around this? Is there a undocumented option in the script for CONREP.EXE that would allow me to disable the onboard NIC?

Re: Internal NIC and Unattended NT Svr Inst

Currently - there is no way to do this. Hopefully, a later version of the kit will allow more complete control over all settings but for now...
