Is it possible to disable all but one Flex-Nic in a HP BL460c G6 Server?

Hi All,

Is it possible to disable all but one Flex-Nic on an HP BL460c G6 server with a Dual Port 10gb NC532i Flex-10 embedded NIC?

Thanks is advance...

By default there is only one "flex NIC" enabled (per port) on the BL460c G6 server. However, even though they aren't really enabled, the other three PCI *functions* per NIC port remain visible to the system. Is that the issue you are having?

Thanks for your response. Yes, that is the issue. When the system is booted with the winPE ISO or image that Platespin provided it fails because there is more than (1) NIC present or visible. So, is there anyway to make those (3) Flex-NICs not visible to the system?

By the way, just some back ground information:

I have applied the latest Firmware for the VC-Flex-10 Ethernet interconnect modules which is at version 2.30. And the lastest firmware for the HP BL460c G6 server which is at version I24 10/01/2009. And the OA is at version 2.60

So, everything is up to date.

Did you ever get a resolution to this issue? I am having the same problem.
