Even if it's possible, you should consider using a newer version. That version does not have updates any more. Use Fedora Core 4 or Red Hat Enterprise for database purposes.

It is possible to install RH7.3 and 9 on DL380G3 servers. if you opt to compile your own kernel, be sure to use the older CISS driver (we've had issues getting the newer driver to boot properly).

As Ivan stated earlier, I would also opt to move a newer O/S distro than RH7.x or 9. FC 4, HP's COE, or RHEL would be good choices, but of course if you need 3rd party support, perhaps HP's COE or Red Hat would be your best bet.

After making my post, I see where Cesar was asking about the DL320, not DL380. Ignore my post...I was referring to a DL380. My apologies.
