Issue with c7000 enclosure

We have just installed a brand-new c7000 enclosure, which is populated with 10 BL465c servers. The servers in slots 5 and 13 appear normally in the enclosure view of the OBA. Th servers in slots 1-4 and 9-12 appear with a question mark on them (see attachment). The servers with the question marks on them are inaccessible via iLO if you attempt to launch the iLO from the OBA screen, but if you manually point your web browser to their IP address, they come up just fine. Does anyone have a suggestion as to how to make the blue question mark go away?

Are the iLOs all in the same subnet as the OA?

Re: Issue with c7000 enclosure

Hi,

David's assumption is most likely.

Check Active OA-> TCP/IP Settings
and : Server bays-> BL465c->Mmanagement Proc. 's settings.

Do you use EBIPA?

Just in case, if you already didn't update all iLO2 to 1.35, OA Firmware to 2.02, so there are no communication problems between the OA and the blades.

And if you try to access the blades from OA do you have problems with opening the iLO2 page or with logging in?

Re: Issue with c7000 enclosure

The issue was indeed firmware. They were shipped from the reseller with a hodgepodge of firmware revisions, and none of them were up-to-date. Thanks!
