Issues with new ML150 G6 and SBS 2003 R2

Guys,

Try to update BIOS to the following version: 2009.07.06/18 Aug 2009 available from link below:

For anyone interested, I have just had the same problem with Windows 2003 Std 32bit on an ML150G6.
I downloaded & ran the new Easy Boot CD, also did the BIOS update suggested with the same problem.
To fix my problem, some drivers for iLO etc were released yesterday (14th September) that solved my issue.
Updated all firmware & drivers available from the following link;

Hello everybody,

Just to let you know I have an exactly same issue with DL160G6. After fresh install and MS Update, splash screen appears, but boot halts to blank screen.

Any help appreciated,

I am having the same issue..

Upgraded all firmware and drivers..
removed video..

Server ran all day while I was loading with several reboots. Now it does nothing but go to black screen after a minute or so on the splash screen.

Will boot in safe mode..

The last tech I spoke with wants me to RELOAD AGAIN and NOT use the smart start CD..

I'm having the same issue. Has this been resolved. I can't find the Sept 14th iLO driver that is spoke of above.

I am Having the Same Problem. I have updated all Software , BIOS, Tried removing Lilo controller, Reinstall without easy setup, Installation Goes fine, After forst reboot hangs on Black screen. Only way to get into windows is safe mode.

If anybody has a fix. I did have a cse open wiht HP, But do not have it with me.

I have the same problem, when i setup the sbs it's ok but if i install update i have a black screen.

Hi Everyone

I'm having the exact same problem when my server boots, just after the server 2003 splash screen, bang nothing, just a black screen.

I hopefully have fixed my problem, I found that 2*2gb ram moudules had been installed but one was in the wrong dimm slot.

I removed 1*2gb module and this seems to have cured the booting issue.

At the moment I only have 1*2gb module installed in CPU1_DIMM Slot 2A.

Hope this help someone else as I've been going crazy all day on this problem.

We are having the same problem with 2 identical servers (ML150G6). Flashedthe ROM and the embedded RAID controller and it seems to have fixed the problem.
