Jumper positions for Proliant ML150G6

Hi,

I am truly sorry for writing two posts for my problem, but I really need your help.

I have found the Customer Advisory (As seen here: http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=c01995737〈=en&cc=us&taskId=135&prodSeriesId=3884323&prodTypeId=15351) for my problem (Post: http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1440475).

Can anyone explain, what is the default (or "original") position for BMC Recovery Jumper and what is the Recovery position for this jumper?

Thank you in advance.

Re: Jumper positions for Proliant ML150G6

Hi Kranti,

Thank you for your answer, this is a manual for DL160 G6 model, but I have ML150 G6.

I've read the ML150 G6 manual, but I don't see the information I need there.

Still waiting for the solution.

Re: Jumper positions for Proliant ML150G6

I've resolved the "System BMC generic F/W crash or BMC in recovery mode please re-flash DMC generic F/W and ensure DMC recovery jumper in pin 1 and pin 2 if the recovery jumper not removed from pin 2 & pin 3 (recovery mode)" error message by re-flashing the Lights-Out 100 Remote Management module. The lastest version for your ML150 G6 can be found here:

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3884323&swItem=MTX-408113072d35425783b72dd00f&prodNameId=3884324&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&taskId=135&mode=4&idx=1

I've never had to manipulate the recovery jumper to get possitive results.

Regards,

Carlos.

Got to http://www.hp.com

Select SUpport- Download Drivers

Enter ML150 G6 in the search box under 'Find My Product'

Select your server in the listed results

Select your OS

When the driver list is displayed, select Firmware Management and download the driver
