Keyboard detection
I have been told that there is an option in the Proliant's bios to enable or disable "Hot Plug Keyboard". Is this true, and if so where is it? I have a Compaq Proliant 3000 connected to a Blackbox Servswitch, but the Proliant displays "No keyboard present" upon bootup, and the keyboard does not respond. I have been told that the solution to this problem is to disable the above bios option, but I cannot find it in the bios. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Re: Keyboard detection
Have you check the cables to make sure there are no bent pins ?
The keyboard can be disabled via the System Configuration Utility Advaced EISA Mode . To get into Adavanced Mode , hit Ctrl A , at the Main Menu Screen . Continue through the SCU steps , and when you come to the View and Edit Details screen , scroll down to the Advance Features Section .
