Kickstart pb with SmartArray 5i and RedHat AS-2.1
Hello,
I've already solve my pb with the network adapter bmc5700 by using the bootnet.img provided by Compaq. But now the kickstart cannot see any drive in order to install the OS. Here is the error message after loading the cciss driver and after the anaconda detection : "Error opening /tmp/sda : No such device or address"
The SmartArray 5i see 1 logical drive at boot. And I've selected Linux in the Rom menu as the future OS.
Can you help me please ?
Regards,
Laurent.

I have the same hardware configuration and I have not had any of the problems you have. May I suggest looking in hardware being a possible cause of failiure by running the diagnostics from the f10 or the smart start cd.
