I'm setting up a NIC Team with 2xNC7782 Gigabit Adapters on a DL380 G4. I've noticed that the connection number for both NICs is a question mark. Will this affect the ability of the software to correctly operate the NICs as a team?
I'v updated the NIC Drivers from 7.60.0.0 to v8.48.0.0 and the Config Utility to v8.20.0.0

David:
There used to be an issue with teaming when the numbers didn't appear, I believe HP fixed it though. (fixed the issue, but not the numbering view)
The reason you see the "?" is probably because you renamed your network connections from the standard "Local Area Connection". The number in the HP Teaming program coinside with the number Windows gives to the NIC's.
Local Area Connection is (1)
Local Area Connection 2 is (2)
etc...
