LaserJet 4050N w/ duplexer - additional memory and driver configuration, PS vs. PCL

Hi!

I need to know how to configure the printer drivers after upgrading my LaserJet
4050N with additional 24MB (32MB total).

Regarding PCL drivers how much I/O memory should I reserve? And regarding PS drivers how much memory should I reserve for "accessible postscript-memory"? ( -> free translated from the german
"verfügbarer Postscript-Speicher").

And by the way, I'm looking for general information when to prefer a PS over a PCL driver and vice versa, preferable a link on hp.com.
