Linux on ml110 g7
Everybody hi, there was a question:
Is it possible to install on HP Proliant ml110i linux? When you try to boot from the boot disk (any distribution debian, centos, etc ...) come out a black screen with a blinking cursor. Has anyone encountered this problem?
In advance thanks.

Re: Linux on ml110 g7
Yes several versions of Linux are supported on the ML110 G7, to use the embedded SATA RAID controller you need to use Red Hat or SUSE as it requires a special driver. All othe Linux versions are supported in SATA mode.
Look at the archived products on the Linux Certification and Support Matrices pages and also the referenced technical exceptions page link in the page listed below

Re: Linux on ml110 g7
Distributions versions(Centos 6.0, RHEL 6.0, 5.6) listed in the matrix also did not work, the system simply does not want to boot from these boot CD.
